Kelly Smith MBE was honoured with a specially commissioned 36 square-metre mural in the Harlequin Watford shopping centre in her home town. Created by the artist collective MurWalls and unveiled on International Women’s Day, 8 March, on the upper mall, the permanent tribute to the former Arsenal forward and current assistant coach is based on an image by Arsenal head of photography David Price, with lead artist Mr. Meana, who also grew up in Watford.
