EURO 2025 Fan Gallery (England & Wales)

A two-part photo gallery of England and Wales supporters in Switzerland, shot and written by Cath Etoe with further images from Priscila Bütler and Noe Llamas for Sports Press Photo, its second half picking up after the quarter-final coverage. Caroline from Pembrokeshire, alongside Nicola and Rebecca from Swansea, says it matters that Welsh women are recognised in any sport, while Nicola praises how the Swiss have embraced the Welsh fans. Manchester United supporters Susie and Jennifer drove from Hertfordshire in their camper van and wore their EURO 2022 final hats to every England game; sisters Molly and Alice from Oxfordshire grew up following the Lionesses. Wendy and Val, former Doncaster Belles players, remember being laughed at and playing anyway. Tina, Abby, Gabrielle and Sonja met up in Austria and left at 9.30am to reach a 9pm kick-off in St. Gallen, while Claire and Jen wore their Lionesses suits in the heat, as they had in Australia.
