Little Kicks

The magazine’s Little Kicks page of reader photographs and football-based art, compiled by Steve English. Lisa Lewendon’s children Olivia, ten, and Adam, seven, name Rachel Furness as their favourite player because she is inspiring, puts in loads of effort, has the best headers and always comes over at the end of a match for selfies – and Furney, the magazine adds, is one of its favourites too. Thomas O’Toole recalls running into Eniola Aluko with Isabelle at the Continental Cup final in Nottingham. Ten-year-old Georgia Kelly’s football collage, made as a home-learning task and describing her favourite things as footy and being outside, won her class competition. A fourth submission shows a reader’s daughter Florence photographed with Millie Bright and Beth England. The page closes with the standing invitation to send in selfies, photos and drawings.
