#SKFansForum: Twitter Top Ten WSL1 players 2015
She Kicks, issue 31, November 2015 p.31
The #SKFansForum page grows out of a national newspaper asking She Kicks to name the top ten performers in FA WSL 1 during the 2015 season, a request made just before the final Sunday of games. The magazine explains how hard it found the exercise and publishes its own list from tenth to first: Kerys Harrop, Mary Earps, Alex Greenwood, Casey Stoney, Ji So-Yun, Steph Houghton, Gilly Flaherty, Izzy Christiansen, Gemma Davison and Beth Mead. Readers were then invited to submit their own top tens, and eleven replies are printed in full from contributors on Twitter and by name, with the magazine noting wryly that one was biased by family ties, one rebelled by naming an actual eleven, and another could not bear to leave out his favourite WSL 2 players.
