Gallery: Snaps & Action from WSL1 (Aug-Sept 2015)

A two-page photographic gallery of snaps and action from FA WSL 1 during August and September 2015, credited to FA via Getty Images. The images are presented without conventional captions, each instead carrying a hashtag: #NOTTSKNUCKLES, #SAYCHEESE, #KARATEKICK, #FOCUS, #SALMON and #STEPHSTRIKES on the first page, and #BRISTOLSUNSET, #HEADSUP, #CITYSPLITS, #LEAPFROG, #BRUMMIELOVE, #HAWAYTHELASSES and #NUMBERNINE on the second. The tags point to the clubs and moments pictured, taking in Notts County, Bristol Academy, Manchester City, Birmingham City and Sunderland among others, but no individual players are named anywhere on the spread. Several of the tags gesture at a player without identifying one, among them #STEPHSTRIKES and #NUMBERNINE.
