Magic Millie! (Star Six)

The Little Kicks Star Six slot invites young readers to put six questions to their favourite player. Eight-year-old Anna Taylor, who has posters of her in her room, and six-year-old Lydia Jones both chose Chelsea and England defender Millie Bright. Bright explains she began as a striker and moved through midfield before settling at centre-back for club and country, names Carly Telford as her closest friend in the squad, and says she has always loved training as an active child who bored easily. Her own favourite player is Ji So-yun, a world-class team-mate always ready with advice. Bright says nerves once troubled her but no longer, and recalls horse riding fondly. A fact file records her honours, her 100th Chelsea appearance, and her return to Killamarsh Dynamos, where she was once the only girl.
