She Kicks, issue SK22, July 2014 p.1
The front cover of She Kicks issue 22, July 2014, leads on England captain Steph Houghton under the billing “Captain Happy to Head North”, trailing the interview inside about her pride at leading the side out at Hartlepool for the friendly against Sweden and about her move from Arsenal to Manchester City. The Durham-born defender is pictured in England colours. The issue appears as England close on qualification for the 2015 World Cup in Canada, needing a single point against Wales, and as the WSL returns from its mid-season break. Further coverage promoted on the cover spans the FA Women’s Cup Final, a coaching feature, and the England Under-20s heading for the World Cup.
