Cover — Rachel Corsie & Karen Bardsley

The cover of issue eleven, dated November/December 2012, carries an FA via Getty Images photograph of Karen Bardsley in action for Team GB. The cover lines bill ‘Super Bards’, an interview with the England goalkeeper described as the country’s safe pair of hands, and an interview with Glasgow City captain Rachel Corsie, trailed with the question of whether bad things happen in threes. Also promoted are posters of Rachel Yankey and Casey Stoney, a report from the annual FA Women’s Awards, Jayne Ludlow’s international retirement, referee Jo Stimpson, and the winners of the magazine’s ‘Me and My Team’ competition. The issue closes the year and looks ahead to Euro 2013 in Sweden.
