The junior club slot visits Stafford Town under-12 girls, winners of the 2011 South Staffordshire Fair Play Award and the Staffordshire Respect Award, introduced with the help of their coach Julia Kendrick, known as Jules. The Reds play nine-a-side in red at home and blue away, train on Tuesdays and play on Saturdays, and travel up to twenty miles because they are the only girls’ team in Stafford. Striker Lauren Hanconx scored 32 goals last season and midfielder Leila Trussler is picked out as another strong player, while Leila is also named the loudest on the team. The girls watch their coach play for Stafford Town Ladies’ first team and travel to FA Women’s Cup finals and England games. They had not lost a league game in 2012.
