Wrexham Women Clinch Big Victory at Cardiff City Stadium

Wrexham Women were twice pegged back by Cardiff City but went on to win the Genero Adran Premier match 4-2 at Cardiff City Stadium.

Mikayla Cook and Natasha Thomas both put Wrexham ahead, before Cardiff City equalisers from Haile Richards and Mackenzie Olden’s deflected strike. Katie Barker gave the visitors the lead for a third time, and the victory was sealed by Evie Sadler, with City’s Richards sent off in stoppage time.

Swansea City also made it back-to-back wins with the only goal at Aberystwyth Town, where Aimee Deacon converted a penalty in first-half added time.

But it’s The New Saints who lead the table on goal difference following a 9-1 thrashing of Barry, in which Abbie Iddenden scored four times.

Jade Crofts put Briton Ferry ahead against Cardiff Met shortly after Lucy Powell missed a penalty for Llansawel, but the Archers levelled by the hour mark.

Rosie Hughes struck first for Connah’s Quay, Gemma Jones missed a twice-taken spot kick for Berriew, with Melanie Barlow and Aimee Redfern each adding one for the Nomads.

Wrexham Foresters hit double figures at Llandudno, helped by an Anna Thomas treble.

Cwmbran Celtic 5-0 Penybont

Cascade scored twice in the last quarter of the match against Pure Swansea, with goals from Nicole Fenton and Ffion Simmonds.

Cwmbran Celtic had five different scorers as they handed out a 5-0 loss to Penybont.

Llanrumney United 3-3 Carmarthen Town
Pontypridd United 1-1 Cambrian United (Att: 152)

Llanrumney and Carmarthen shared six goals, with the latter coming from behind twice and going 3-2 up through Lili Ellis on 85 minutes, only for Rosina Hill to level from the spot in added time.

Pontypridd United led Cambrian United after just two minutes with a Robyn Lloyd effort, but Kierra Deeks equalised in the second half.
