WSL Matchday 2: Man Utd Women Clash With Chelsea

WSL Matchday 2 features a clash between Man Utd Women and Chelsea, with both teams searching for their first win.

Chelsea started their league campaign last week with a frustrating draw against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, while Manchester United suffered a season-opening loss to the London City Lionesses.

The Blues’ Melvine Malard won’t be fit to play against her former club, with Mayra Ramirez, Manaka Matsukubo, and Nathalie Bjorn also sidelined, though the latter will travel with the team.

Fridolina Rolfö of Manchester United has shared the happy news that she’s expecting her first child, with the baby due in March.

Bristol City and Newcastle United meet in WSL2 late Saturday afternoon, Burnley and Wolves make their home debuts at this level against Sunderland and Sheffield United respectively.
