Sunderland Women have signed Ria Bose from West Ham on loan until January 2027.
The attacking full-back will link up with the Black Cats following England’s campaign at the FIFA Women’s Under-20 World Cup.
Bose joined the Hammers from Sporting Club de Portugal in January 2026 and made her WSL debut in May 2026 against Manchester City.
Bose told safc.com: “I’m delighted to join Sunderland on loan for the first half of the season“It’s an exciting opportunity to join the Club.
“I’m really looking forward to getting started and settling into the group after the U20 World Cup.”
Technical Director, Rehanne Skinner said: “We’re really pleased to bring Ria in on loan.
“She is a talented young defender who has already gained valuable experience at senior level and is currently part of the England U20 team at the World Cup, which is a reflection of her potential and the quality she possesses.
“Ria brings energy, athleticism and a strong competitive mentality, and we believe she will add further strength to our defence.”
