Ipswich Town Women have made the permanent signing of Jorja Fox from Chelsea.
The versatile full-back joins on an initial one-season deal after 15 years with Chelsea, having joined the club at the age of eight.
She made her first-team debut in the 2020/21 season, helped the Blues win the Women’s FA Cup, and had loan spells at Brighton, Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic, and Newcastle United.
Internationally, Fox has been capped by England up to the Under-23 level.
Sean Burt, Women’s Technical Director, told itfc.co.uk: “We’re delighted to welcome Jorja to the club.
“Her experience in WSL and within elite-level environments is something we feel will be invaluable to the group.
“Jorja’s versatility and ability to play across a number of positions will be a real asset, and we’re excited to see her get started now everything is finalised.”
Fox said: “The experiences I’ve had in the WSL and Champions League during my career so far have been so valuable and hopefully I can go on to achieve some great things here too.
“I think it’s going to be a competitive season, but I’m raring to go and really looking forward to seeing what we can do together.”
