Amy Rodgers is set to join Brøndby on a two-year contract following the midfielder’s departure from Nottingham Forest.
Rodgers has also previously played for Liverpool, London City Lionesses, and Bristol City, racking up just under 150 games in total, while internationally she has earned 12 caps for Scotland.
Rodgers told brondby.com: “I know how historic a club Brøndby IF is – both in Danish women’s and men’s football. I was looking for a new challenge … it seemed like the right match. The club has great ambitions to win titles in Denmark, but also to compete in the European tournaments.”
Head of Women’s Football, Kim André Pedersen, added: “We have followed Amy for a long time. She brings quality, experience and a strong winning mentality, which fits perfectly with the ambitions we have for the team.
She is a typical six, who takes off in the duels but also has a really good technical leveel.“
