Women’s Champions League Wins Secured By Hearts and Rangers

UEFA Women’s Champions League 2nd qualifying round mini-tournament semi-finals included victories for Hearts and Rangers.

Rangers came from behind to edge Slavia Prague 2-1 and now face Ajax, who defeated Brondby 2-0.

Nicola Docherty levelled for Rangers with eight minutes of the 90 to go and Eilidh Austin scored the decider, although Eva Hendle was sent off in the 114th minute.

Hearts beat Gintra 2-1 to set up a mini-tournament final with HB Køge, who saw off Riga 4-1.

Falling behind just before halftime, Hearts also turn their tie around as Ellen Dolan equalised and 10 minutes later Kayla Jardine scored what proved to be the winner.
