Portishead Reserves were crowned champions of the Somerset League in 2025-26, while Odd Down, Clevedon Town, and Minehead won Divisions 2, 3, and 4 respectively.

Portishead Reserves topped Division 1 by a margin of nine points over runners-up Cheddar, with Pen Mill a further couple of points behind in third position.

The previous campaign had Portishead down in seventh spot, a full 20 points behind the champions of that season, Pen Mill.

There would be no double for Portishead though, as they lost the League Cup Semi-Final to Pen Mill 3-1 on penalties after a 1-1 deadlock. Banwell thrashed Frome Town 7-1 in the other last-four clash, aided by a Natalee Elmer hat-trick, but the final has yet to be played.

Next season, Portishead Reserves will compete in the South West League Division 1 Central, while Pen Mill will play in Division 1 South.

Paulton Rovers Reserves were only ninth in the top flight but defeated Cheddar 2-0 in the Chairman’s Cup Final with goals from Jasmine Ford and Aimee Mitchell.

There was just a single point between Division 2’s leading pair as Odd Down pipped Ilminster Town to the title. Portishead A Team were eight points adrift along with Ashton, over whom they had a better goal difference.

Clevedon Town won Division 3 North, only failing to win on one occasion to end seven points ahead of Burnham United. Worle Rangers took third place but were some distance off the top two.

Minehead won all their 14 games in Division 3 South and recorded a goal difference of well over +100 as they took pole position by six points from Taunton Town. Third-placed Combe St Nicholas were an additional 15 points short, as were Pen Mill Reserves.
