Chelsea Women will host home cup games at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, home of AFC Wimbledon, under a new multi-year deal.
Starting from the 2026/27 season, all their WSL home matches will be played at Stamford Bridge. However, to meet the requirement of having two compliant stadiums, any home domestic cup games and potential home Champions League group-stage matches will be held at the Plough Lane ground.
The Cherry Red Records Stadium is a purpose-built venue that’s highly accessible and meets all competition standards. With a capacity of 9,000, it offers the club plenty of room to grow its attendance for matches over time.
Nadia Shahrestani, business operations director at CFCW, told chelseafc.com: “We are delighted that from next season we will be playing league phase cup fixtures at the fantastic Cherry Red Records Stadium. While Stamford Bridge is our home, we want to ensure that our alternative venue is inclusive, convenient, as well as being fully compliant with all competition regulations.“
