
The PFA Women’s Awards shortlists have now been revealed for the Players’ Player of the Year honours.
WSL Champions Manchester City are represented twice among the six nominees for the Players’ Player of the Year, through Khadija Shaw and Yui Hasegawa.
Arsenal’s Alessia Russo, Lauren James of Chelsea, Manchester United’s Jess Park, and Kirsty Hanson from Aston Villa also made the cut.
The PFA Young Player of the Year award has two contenders from Chelsea: Alyssa Thompson and Veerle Buurman.
Olivia Smith of Arsenal, Manchester City’s Laura Blindkilde Brown, Toko Koga of Tottenham, and Freya Godfrey from London City Lionesses are the others to make the shortlist.
The winners will be revealed on 25 August during the PFA Awards ceremony in Manchester.
