The SWPL is to launch the league stage fixtures for the 2026/27 Sky Sports Cup at 3pm on Tuesday, 9 June.
The new 14-team league phase, which now takes the place of the previous 1st round, will begin on Sunday, 26 July and the qualifying clubs competing in this league stage are listed below:
Pot 1: Motherwell, Montrose, Aberdeen, Hamilton Academical, Spartans, Kilmarnock, Boroughmuir Thistle
Pot 2: Queen’s Park, Dundee United, Gartcairn, Livingston, St Johnstone, Renfrew, Falkirk
Each of the 14 clubs are allocated at random to play two teams from each of the two pots, playing a total of four matches at this stage of the competition. The clubs will be ranked in one 14-team table based on accumulated points from these fixtures.

Matchday 1: Sunday, 26 July 2026
Matchday 2: Sunday, 2 August 2026
Matchday 3: Wednesday, 5 August 2026
Matchday 4: Sunday, 9 August 2026
