Rhian Wilkinson has named her squad as Wales Women aim to wrap up their 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign on a strong note against Montenegro and Czechia.
Melbourne City midfielder, Laura Hughes, returns to the squad following an injury alongside Olivia Clark, Ceri Holland and Lois Joel. Scarlett Hill and Elena Cole receive the call up after a positive display during the UEFA WU19 EURO qualifiers in April. Hayley Ladd misses out due to injury.
Wales, who currently sit second in Group B1 on goal difference, picked up six points during the last international window beating Albania twice. Wilkinson will be hoping her side can build on this momentum when they face Montenegro in Podgorica on Friday 5 June (KO 6:00pm CEST) and Czechia at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday 9 June (KO 6:00pm) for the final matches of the group stage.
Wales have secured a play-off place but seeding placements will depend on their final position in the group as they battle for top spot with Czechia. The draw for round one and two of the play-off stage will take place on 18 June.
Tickets are available to purchase on the FAW ticketing website, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, with discounts available for Red Wall members.
