
Evesham United were champions of the Midwest Counties League after completing the 26-game campaign with an unbeaten record.
After finishing last term in seventh position, they improved notably to top the 14-team division with 24 wins and two draws, leading the table by 11 points.
Grace Finch was the top scorer for the champions with 29 goals out of their 130 league total from 21 games, while Sapphire Boswell’s tally of 22 came at almost a goal a game, and Freya Bostock scored her 18 at the rate of two per match.
Newcomers Dudley Town claimed the runners-up spot ahead of Ross Juniors, who still have Wyre Forest Phoenix to play on 31 May but are five points behind the team in second place.
