Nottingham Forest Women have confirmed the departure of Head Coach Carly Davies.
The former Aston Villa and England WU19s coach joined Forest from West Brom in August 2023 and, after the transition to a full-time squad, led the side to a FA WNL double and promotion to WSL2.
With a mid-table finish in the second tier this term, Forest said in a statement: ‘After careful consideration, as the team continues to push towards the WSL, the club has made the decision to begin a fresh cycle under new management.’
They also thanked Davies ‘For her dedication, commitment and professionalism, recognising her significant contribution to the club’s recent upwards trajectory and success.’
