BK Häcken beat Hammarby IF 3-2 on the day and 4-2 on aggregate in the final of the inaugural UEFA Women’s Europa Cup.

Häcken – guided by former Celtic boss Elena Sadiku – led 1-0 from the first leg thanks to a Felicia Schröder goal, and it was she who put her side in a commanding position with two goals in the first 10 minutes of their home tie.

Hammarby were given some hope when Stina Lennartsson’s cross was headed home by Svea Rehnberg, and two minutes after the interval they were level as Elin Sørum nodded in from Vilma Koivisto’s corner.

Parity was short-lived, however, as Schröder completed her hat-trick after an exchange of passes with Anna Anvegård.
