
Barclays WSL leaders Man City Women snatched a dramatic late winner against Liverpool, Chelsea made sure of a Champions League place, while Spurs secured fifth spot.

Manchester City beat Liverpool with a stoppage-time goal to move within touching distance of the title.
Liverpool went close three times in the first five minutes, as Aurélie Csillag put a good headed opportunity over, Denise O’Sullivan’s shot was turned around the post by goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita, and Grace Fisk struck the upright.
Khadija Shaw was denied by Jennifer Falk in the Reds’ net, and in the second half, the keeper turned a shot over the bar from Kerolin, who had been played through on goal.
Beata Olsson sent a header wide for Liverpool, and City survived a following period of pressure.
Falk tipped over Shaw’s header in added time but was beaten by Rebecca Knaak’s diving header from Alex Greenwood’s corner.
Although Arsenal can still catch City with games in hand, a victory away at West Ham on Saturday 16 May will secure the title for Andrée Jeglertz’s side.

Tottenham beat London City to make sure of a fifth-place finish
Signe Gaupset made the most of a defensive error to put Spurs ahead, and Olivia Holdt doubled the advantage with a strike from 25 yards inside the half-hour.
Alanna Kennedy pulled one back from Delphine Cascarino’s corner, but with only added time left to play.
Chelsea made sure of a top-three finish and a place in the Champions League with a victory at Leicester City.

Sam Kerr guided a header beyond goalkeeper Katie Keane for an early goal, Lauren James bagged a six-minute brace with two strikes from outside the box, the second from a free-kick in off the underside of the crossbar after a foul on Erin Cuthbert.
Shannon O’Brien pulled one back for the Foxes in the second half, after being presented with the ball from Lucy Bronze’s stray pass.
