Bradford City Women beat Harrogate Town 4-0 in their last match on Wednesday, taking the North East League title from Thornaby by two points.
The Bantams only needed a draw to claim top spot but took the lead just before half-time thanks to Monika Stube.
They cemented their position with three second-half goals, Aaliyah Nolan bagging a brace and substitute Mia Jacobs also on target.
Bradford won 19 of their 20 fixtures over the campaign, including a crucial 3-0 victory against Thornaby in November.
Their only defeat came 4-1 to the same side in February, having been reduced to 10 players following to a red card.
The two title rivals finished more than 20 points clear of the rest of the division.
Bradford had been relegated from the Northern Premier Division in 2019 after a very tough campaign, and three years ago dropped out of Division 1 North after finishing next to bottom.
Playing in the North East Regional League Premier Division, they rallied to finish third in 2024, improving to take the runners-up spot last term, and now have become champions at the third attempt.
