The 2026 London Football Awards saw Arsenal’s Alessia Russo win Women’s Super League Player of the Year.
Chelsea took home the Women’s Young Player of the Year Award, which went to Alyssa Thompson, who currently sits as top goal scorer for the Blues in the WSL.
Thompson’s teammate and Lionesses legend Millie Bright was awarded the PFA Women’s Player of the Year for using her platform for change as a trustee of the Chelsea Foundation. Bright has actively been working in the community to promote initiatives that tackle loneliness, promoting football for young girls and provide education for those with special education needs.
The Lionesses as a team were also a winner on the night on the back of their stellar 2025 European Championships performance which saw them retain the trophy last summer, winning the Power of Football award.
