
It’s top versus bottom on Friday evening as Man City Women host Leicester City to kick off the weekend’s Barclays WSL fixtures.
Manchester City are aiming to bounce back after the loss at Arsenal, but still hold a sizable lead of eight points.
Leicester have slipped to the bottom of the table after the latest set of results and are on a three-game losing streak, with just 8 goals in their 14 matches.
Only a couple of points separate the chasing pack, as Manchester United meet London City, Chelsea host Liverpool, and Arsenal head to Brighton in the late kick-off.
Aston Villa hope to halt their spree of three defeats when entertaining Tottenham, while Everton and West Ham go head-to-head in an attempt to follow up victories last time out with another positive result.
Charlton are top of WSL 2 by five points and still unbeaten as they welcome Durham for the early match.
Third-placed Bristol City face Southampton in sixth, second plays fourth but not until Monday when Birmingham City. tackle Crystal Palace. Sunderland are four points behind visitors Nottingham Forest in seventh but with two games in hand.
Basement side Portsmouth travel to Newcastle United, and Ipswich Town – just goal difference off the foot of the table – clash with Sheffield United, only three points in front of them.
