Portsmouth Women have signed Welsh international midfielder Charlie Estcourt following her departure from USL Super League side DC Power.
Estcourt has 50 caps for Wales and was named in the squad for UEFA Women’s Euro 2025.
Her club career has included spells with Reading, London Bees, Coventry United, and Birmingham City, along with loans to Bristol City and Charlton Athletic.
In 2024 she signed for DC Power in the newly-formed USL Super League, featuring 20 times across two campaigns.
Pompey boss Jay Sadler told portsmouthfc.co.uk: “I’m absolutely delighted to welcome Charlie to the club.
“She’s a highly technical player who brings real versatility to the squad, having performed at a high level both as a central midfielder and as a full-back.
“That flexibility, combined with her energy, strong work ethic, and tenacious attitude, is exactly what we look for in a Pompey player.
“Her experience across the top two English leagues will be invaluable to us, and we’re all excited to see the impact she’ll have here.”
