Hearts Women Have Reduced Glasgow Citys Lead to Three Points

While SWPL leaders Glasgow City were held to a draw by Celtic, Hearts Women and Rangers gained ground with big wins.

Maria McAneny equalised from a Morgan Cross ball for Celtic, after Nicole Kozlova had taken advantage of a spill by Hoops’ goalkeeper Lisa Rodgers.

Hearts thrashed Aberdeen 6-0, with Georgia Timms and Jenna Slattery both scoring twice, while Rangers dominated at Hamilton as Laura Berry netted a first-half hat-trick.

Hibs beat Motherwell with a goal each from Kirsty Morrison and Kathleen McGovern, while Partick took the points 2-1 at Montrose.

Despite big away wins for Boroughmuir Thistle and Queens Park, Kilmarnock stayed 13 points clear at the top with a 4-0 result over Gartcairn.
