Crystal Palace Women have completed the loan signing of Lucy Newell from Manchester United until the end of the season.
The England U-19 centre-back played at the 2025 U19 Euros and helped the Young Lionesses qualify for the U20 Women’s World Cup.
She signed her first professional contract with Manchester United in 2024 and has had other loan spells with Blackburn Rovers last season and Birmingham City this term.
Manager Jo Potter told cpfc.co.uk: “We are delighted to have Lucy join us at Palace.
“She is a promising talent who has already gained some good experience at club and international level.”
Newell said: “I’m really excited to be here. Crystal Palace is a massive club with huge ambitions and I’m just excited to be a part of them now.”
