Kaela McDonald-Nguah and Rosie McQuillan have been named the December 2025 SWPL and SWPL2 Players of the Month, respectively, with the awards sponsored by Park’s Motor Group.

In the ScottishPower Women’s Premier League, Montrose have made a strong start to the season, with McDonald-Nguah playing a pivotal role in helping Craig Feroz’s side climb into the top six of the table, as it stands. The striker currently has seven goals to her name so far this season.

McDonald-Nguah’s performances in December included an impressive showing at Links Park as Montrose battled back to earn a valuable point against Hibernian. The striker then scored the equaliser the following week as Feroz’s side showed determination to fight back once again to earn a point on the road against Hamilton Academical.

The first time Player of the Month winner began December by scoring a brace in a 5-0 win over St Johnstone before helping her side secure a point against Spartans as she scored Queen’s Park’s only goal of the match in the clash at the Kirkintilloch Community Sports Complex.

The other nominees for the December 2025 SWPL Player of the Month award, supported by Park’s Motor Group, were Laura Berry (Rangers), Lana Golob (Glasgow City), and Saoirse Noonan (Celtic) and for the SWPL2 award were Kaitlyn Canavan (Kilmarnock), Danni Findlay (Dundee United), and Ami Robertson (Boroughmuir Thistle).
