Cardiff City Women Go Top of the Genero Adran Premier

Cardiff City Women went top of the Genero Adran Premier with a 4-1 victory at Briton Ferry Llansawel on Thursday evening.

Mackenzie Olden opened the scoring for Cardiff and Laura Curnock doubled the advantage before half-time.

Kerry Walklett and Amy Long made sure of the points with a goal each midway through the second half.

Grace Evans grabbed a consolation for Llansawel with 10 minutes remaining.

The Bluebirds are now one point ahead of former leaders Wrexham, while Briton Ferry remain in the bottom half of the table but just two points behind The New Saints with a game in hand.

Berriew’s Adran North fixture with Llanfair United was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
