Watford Women scored three times in the last quarter of an hour to defeat Plymouth Argyle 3-1 at Home Park and take second place from them in the FA WNL Southern Premier Division table.

Una Lue gave Argyle the lead in the first half, turning home a cross from Olivia Francis but after 77 minutes Coral Haines played Madison Perry in down the right, and her chip found the far corner.

Freda Ayisi went on a strong run and set up Izzy Fisher, who hit the top corner with a first-time finish.

When Fisher gained possession from a defensive error, she set it up perfectly for Perry to double her tally and seal the points.

The Hornets go level on points with unbeaten leaders AFC Bournemouth, but the Cherries have two games in hand on both them and the Pilgrims.
