
London City Lionesses confirm the appointment of Eder Maestre as the club’s new head coach, on a deal through to summer 2028.
His extensive experience of the top flight of women’s football in Spain was most recently as head coach of CD Tenerife, following three seasons as assistant at Real Sociedad, He helped them finish second to qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League, and reach the Copa de la Reina final in 2024.

Maestre told londoncitylionesses.com: “I love English football and representing this club is a real honour. In my opinion this project is now the best project in women’s football. The ambitions are very aligned with my values and I’m very excited.”
