Part four of our County Leagues mid-season round-up sees North Riding leaders Wigginton Grasshoppers being chased by Evolution Ladies, while Pickering Town are on 11 straight wins, Nottinghamshire’s Bingham Town have 10.
NORFOLK LEAGUE – Lowestoft on a High
Division 1: Lowestoft Town start the new year with a five-point advantage over Mulbarton Wanderers Reserves thanks to their perfect form so far. Costessey Sports and Aylsham can each eat into that lead with their games in hand.
Division 2: Beccles Town are the team to beat, having won all their matches, while nearest rivals Martham and Shrublands have both played more games.
Division 3: The 13-team table is led by Waveney, but second-placed North Walsham Town can get within a point of them by winning their games in hand, and Dereham Town would overtake them if they win the five matches they have to make up.
NORTHAMPTONSHIRE LEAGUE – Title Rivals Remain Unbeaten
Premier Division: Bugbrooke St. Michael are three points ahead of Higham Town with a game in hand, as both teams remain unbeaten. Corby Town and Harpole could mount challenges, but each has suffered two losses.

Division 1: Heyford Athletic have won seven of their eight fixtures to lead ahead of Kingsthorpe Jets, who have dropped just two points. Harpole Reserves sit third but are struggling to stay in touch with the top two.
NORTH RIDING LEAGUE – Grasshoppers on the Run from Evolution
Premier Division: While Wigginton Grasshoppers hold a five-point advantage at the top, it’s from more matches than Evolution Ladies, who could overtake them, and Guisborough Town, who could halve the gap.
Division 1: Pickering Town have maintained a perfect record from 11 games, leading by as many points over T.I.B.S, who have just a single match to catch up. Catterick Village Roses have games in hand to get closer, but Marske United seem to have the best chance of challenging the leaders.

Recreational North Division: Thirsk Falcons are only three in front of Leyburn United in terms of goal difference at the top, with Leyburn Town six points short of the leading pair.
Recreational South Division: There’s a similar lead for Bishopthorpe White Rose over Honeyball United Rebels, while Duncombe Park are just a couple of points behind the top two.
NORTHUMBERLAND LEAGUE – Morpeth Setting the Pace
Premiership: Morpeth Town are top by a point from West Allotment Celtic but with two games in hand, while third-placed North Shields Athletic are unbeaten and pose the main threat to the leaders.

Division 1: Cramlington Town Juniors sit at the top by a single point ahead of Heddon United, who have played one match fewer, with Whitley Bay SC Lionesses another possible contender for the title.
Division 2: Gateshead Rutherford Reserves seem to have a tough task staying at the top, with Dunston and Blyth Spartans both well positioned to overtake them based on the games in hand.
NOTTINGHAMSHIRE LEAGUE – Bingham Town Win 10 on the Trot
Division 1: Hucknall Town have yet to drop a point and have games in hand on most other sides, with Keyworth United in second and others all likewise battling to keep in touch with the leaders.
Division 2: Eastwood & Kimberley’s perfect record keeps them top on goal difference ahead of Shirebrook Rangers, who have played one more game. Sherwood Colliery and Gedling Southbank can both close in on the leaders just as much as the second-placed side.

Division 3: Bingham Town Red have racked up 10 straight wins to sit eight points ahead of Newark Town Development. Fifth-placed Meden Vale can get closest to the leaders with their games in hand.
SHEFFIELD & HALLAMSHIRE LEAGUE – One Point Separates Top Five
Division 1: A very tight title race sees the top five separated by just a single point. Staveley Miners Welfare and Barnsley Women Reserves have played two games fewer than Frickley Athletic. YP Academy, and Stocksbridge Park Steels, are a point behind, but the former boast a 100% record.

Division 2: One point separates the top three, with Brinsworth Whitehill having played more matches than the chasing pack, including Barnsley FC Ladies, Staveley Miners Welfare Reserves, SJR Worksop Development, and Sheffield Wednesday Reserves.
Division 3: Dronfield Town Development have won all seven games and have two in hand on Charnock Ridgeway, who lead by one point. They are followed in the table by Chesterfield Town and Wickersley.
Division 4: Brampton United are unbeaten and only a point behind leaders Barlborough, with three games in hand. Wombwell Town, Worksop Town, and Frickley Athletic 2nd XI can also catch the leaders, with the latter being best placed of that trio.
SHROPSHIRE LEAGUE – Up & Comers Unbeaten

Premier Division: Shrewsbury Up & Comers and Broseley have one and two games in hand respectively on leaders Worthen, whom they trail by three points. Fifth-placed Shawbury United have won all but one of their matches so far in the 13-team league.
SOMERSET LEAGUE – Portishead in Pole Position
Division 1: Portishead Reserves top the table ahead of Wellington Wildcats, Pen Mill, and Bath City Development, while fifth-placed Banwell might be in the best position to challenge them.
Division 2: Odd Down are three points ahead of Ashton, with Street, Portishead ‘A’, and Ilminster Town needing to make the most of games in hand to stay in the race.

Division 3 North: Burnham United lead a two-horse race by two points over Clevedon Town, who have played one fewer fixture.
Division 3 South: Taunton Town are top with a three-point advantage over Minehead, but their title rivals have two games in hand to catch up. Highburn Athletic are third and can get within three points of the leaders.
