The FA WNL resumes this weekend with second facing third on Saturday in the Southern Premier, and the Northern Premier’s top two, Burnley Women and Wolves, clashing on Sunday.

Burnley are two points behind leaders Wolves, with both teams still unbeaten. Third-placed Rugby face sixth-placed Middlesbrough, Stoke and West Brom host sides from the bottom half of the table. Loughborough and visitors Derby County are separated by two points, with Lighting inside the relegation zone, and Liverpool Feds take on Sporting Khalsa, who are at least four points away from safety.

Plymouth could overtake leaders AFC Bournemouth, or Watford could draw level on points with them, before the Cherries host Hashtag the following day. Fifth faces fourth as Cheltenham host Real Bedford, while Lewes and Exeter meet in a mid-table clash. AFC Wimbledon sit just a point above the drop zone as they take on Oxford United, and there’s a basement battle between Gwalia United and Billericay, with the latter a dozen points adrift.

Boldmere defended their Division One Midlands lead at third-in-the-table Barnsley Women, with any slip-up likely to let Peterborough United go top, as they’ve only dropped two points and are away to a winless Lincoln. Northampton and Kidderminster face a crucial clash, with both sides sitting just outside the bottom two.

Division One North leaders Huddersfield host fifth-placed Cheadle, newcomers Wythenshawe sit just goal-difference behind the Terriers and travel to mid-table Norton. Leeds are two points off the leading pair and welcome Chester le Street, and York City face Doncaster with the two separated by the drop zone’s dotted line.

Fulham lead Division One South East by a single point over Norwich City ahead of hosting Actonians, while the Canaries entertain QPR.

Division One South West leaders Moneyfields have home advantage over Ascot United, but Swindon Town are just one point behind with two games in hand as they host Abingdon.
