Part two of our County Leagues mid-season round-up sees Gloucestershire League Fry Club on 10 straight wins, while Herefordshire’s Ross Juniors have averaged over nine goals per game.
EAST RIDING – North Ferriby Number One
Division 1: North Ferriby’s eight straight wins have given them a four-point lead over Cherry Burton, who have played one more game. Fourth-placed AFC Preston have games in hand on all those above them.
Division 2: Brandesburton are unbeaten after 11 games, but Scarborough Sirens, Malet Lambert, and Howden each have a couple of games in hand to eat into their lead.
ESSEX – Tip-Top Maldon & Tiptree
Premier Division: After seven wins in a row, Maldon & Tiptree are four points and one game better off than their closest rivals, Braintree Athletic. But Leigh Ramblers remain a threat, having dropped just two points from a possible 15 so far.

Division 1: Leigh United lead the league by a single point over East Thurrock, with Grays Athletic and Hutton Development both having games in hand to catch the top side.
Division 2: Hatfield Peverel are top by four points ahead of Beacon Hill Rovers, with two games in hand over them. But Barking Reserves, Chelmsford City Reserves, and particularly Great Danes can gain ground, the latter yet to drop a point.
Division 3: Although the top four are separated by just goal difference, leaders Pitsea Town have multiple games in hand over the other three: Halstead Town, Wickford & Runwell United, and Leigh Ramblers Development. Stanway Rovers are fifth but only three points short of the top team.
GLOUCESTERSHIRE – First Class Fry Club
Division 1: Hartpury’s lead is precarious, resting solely on goal difference over second-placed Bristol Brunel, who have two games in hand. Bishops Cleeve have a further match to catch up on and could draw level on points with the leaders.
Division 2: Cheltenham Civil Service sit top, three points ahead with a game in hand over North Bristol Wanderers. However, Newent Town can catch the leaders, and City of Gloucester are also playing catch-up.
Division 3: Bishops Cleeve Development’s 10 matches have earned them 27 points, giving them a clear lead over both Kingswood and AEK Boco Development. Bristol Ladies Union could pose the main threat if they perform well in their games in hand.
Division 4: Fry Club are going very strong with 10 wins in 10 and a big lead over Mitcheldean SC and Lydney Town, who could struggle to stay in pursuit of the leaders.

GREATER LONDON – Orient Odds On For Title
Premier Division: Leyton Orient have overrun the opposition with nine wins, racking up a huge total of 107 goals to date, while Tooting Bec and South London struggle to keep up. Poppy Binding has netted 26 times for the O’s, and Samantha Rowland averages three goals a match.
Division 1 North: United Dragons lead London Galaxy by three points with a game in hand, while East Finchley still have a couple of matches with which to catch the latter.

Division 1 South: Brentford ‘B’ look certain to clinch the title, holding a clear lead while all other teams have lost at least four times. Regents Park Rangers are second, but South London Reserves and Holmesdale Keets can each draw level with them.
Division 2 North: Eight wins on the trot have Fusion top by a dozen points from five other sides, two of whom – Alexandra Park and Wealdstone – have a couple of games in hand.
Division 2 Central & South: Grenfell Athletic are top by two points ahead of Wandsworth Borough and three clear of Tooting Bec Reserves, who have a game in hand.
GREATER MANCHESTER – Tiki Taka Takes Bolton Top
Premier Division: Seven wins from seven sees Mancunian Unity ‘B’ sitting at the top of the league, but Bury Reserves are also unbeaten and five points behind with a game in hand.
Division 1: Leaders Wilmslow Albion have only dropped a couple of points so far and have played fewer games than most. AFC Oldham are just a point behind them, having played one extra match.
Division 2: Tiki Taka Bolton seem to be doing that quite successfully with seven wins and two draws, leading Glossop North End by three points and a game in hand. Hindley are down in fifth spot but still have a chance to get into the race.

Division 3: Little Lever hold a solid 10-point lead, but it’s about to be tested as Westbury Sports Club and Chadderton each have five games to try and catch up.
HAMPSHIRE – Perfect Petersfield
Division 1: AFC Portchester Reserves have taken 25 points from a possible 27 so far, putting them 10 clear of Shanklin, who have three games in hand.
Division 2: Rushmoor’s 10-game unbeaten streak includes four draws, which leaves them still in the sights of the chasing pack of Winchester City Flyers Reds, Liphook United, and Gosport Falcons.
Division 3: Havant & Waterlooville Reserves have won nine of their ten matches, while Aldershot Town have taken eight of their nine, as the pair seem to be engaged in a two-horse race well clear of the rest.
Division 4: Petersfield Town have a perfect record from eight matches and have played one fewer than leaders Sholing Development, who are top only on goal difference. Denmead have two games in hand on the top side but trail by eight points.
Division 5: While New Milton Town lead the table by three points over Alton Development, Fulcrum sit third with games in hand to overtake both of them.
Division 6: Sherfield English’s lead looks unsustainable with Andover New Street Vixens right on their heels from three games fewer and third-placed Portsmouth University 3rds boasting unbeaten form.
hummel HEREFORDSHIRE – Ross On A Roll
Division 1: Ross Juniors have averaged over nine goals per game during their nine straight victories, putting them six points clear of Wellington and a further three ahead of Hereford Lads Club Ladies.
