2025/26 Sky Sports Cup 1st and 2nd Round draws made

The 2025/26 1st and 2nd Round draws of the Sky Sports Cup were conducted this afternoon, live from Hampden Park.

Joining the Scottish Women’s Premier League for the draws was former Glasgow City and Rangers striker and 151-cap Scotland international Jane Ross, a winner of this competition on multiple occasions.

The 1st Round of the Sky Sports Cup involves eight SWPL 2 sides entering the competition. These eight sides were determined by being the lowest-ranked SWPL 2 teams based on season 2024/25 final league standings.

1st Round – to be played on or before Sunday 7 September

Dundee United v Kilmarnock

Livingston v East Fife

University of Stirling v  St Johnstone

Boroughmuir Thistle  v Gartcairn

The 2nd Round of the Sky Sports Cup is when the remaining two SWPL 2 sides enter the competition, as well as the ten SWPL clubs. They will be joined by the four winners from the 1st Round.

2nd Round – to be played on or before Sunday 5 October.

Partick Thistle v Livingston or East Fife

Hibernian v Motherwell

Aberdeen v Dundee United or Kilmarnock

Heart of Midlothian v Montrose

Boroughmuir Thistle or Gartcairn v Queen’s Park

Hamilton Academical v Glasgow City

Rangers v University of Stirling or St Johnstone

Spartans v Celtic
